About Huric Uganda
The Human Rights Research Documentation Centre (HURIC Uganda) is an indigenous, non-profit organization dedicated to advancing human rights, promoting legal and policy reforms, and strengthening community-based responses to human rights challenges. Established to address the persistent social injustices that often lead to rights violations, HURIC Uganda uses research, advocacy, and capacity building as key tools to drive change. By leveraging evidence-based approaches and fostering partnerships, the organisation works to ensure that laws, policies, and practices effectively protect and promote the rights and dignity of all people, with a particular focus on vulnerable communities in Uganda.

To safeguard the well-being of Ugandans by amplifying community voices in decision-making, and advancing empowerment, research, and advocacy for a people-centred approach
