We presented on People’s Health Movement-Uganda and HURIC’s growing involvement in strengthening the social determinants of Health, through; social accountability initiatives such as, Active civic engagement through civil society organizations’ involvement, and Community participation as a new global paradigm in health systems strengthening.
Experiences of the People’s Health Movement and HURIC in Uganda and explore the challenges and opportunities for the movements’ health activists as a leeway of building active volunteerism and synergy between the civil society, private players, health workers and the state capacities to improve health service delivery.
