WHAT IS PHM UGANDA
The People’s Health Movement Uganda Chapter, founded in 2009 by a group of people who had completed the IPHU training, is a loose coalition with broad composition of individual persons and organizations who subscribe to the “Right to Health for All charter.

Who we are?
People’s Health Movement (PHM) Uganda is a member of the broader People’s Health Movement, which is a global network of civil society organizations, health activists, academics, and health workers. PHM Uganda aims to promote and strengthen health systems that prioritize the health needs of marginalized and vulnerable populations.

What we do?
People’s Health Movement (PHM) Uganda is a part of the larger PHM global network and is dedicated to promoting health as a fundamental human rights. We work towards achieving universal health coverage, equity, and social justice in Uganda through community empowerment, advocacy, and activism.
Our Goals?
PHM Uganda aims to promote the right to health for all people, regardless of their socio-economic status. This includes advocating for policies and practices that ensure access to quality healthcare for everyone.
