This includes training, mentorship, and capacity-building efforts that foster resilience, leadership, and active participation in shaping social and economic development.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-primary-color\"><strong>Projects&nbsp;<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-primary-color\">The youth empowerment mentorship programme in Mengo Kisenyi parish for girls in male-dominated occupations<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-primary-color\">Since 2023, through our rehabilitation and training programs, we have been unlocking the potential of youth from Kampala\u2019s slum communities and giving them the tools to build brighter futures. So far, 250 young people, comprising 100 girls and 150 boys, have participated in our mentorship initiatives, gaining confidence, guidance, and hope. Right now, 20 of these youth (12 boys and 8 girls) are advancing even further, learning practical, income-generating skills in plumbing and tiling.
