HAELLA CENTRAL FAMILY UGANDA

The Haella Central Family is a network of non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and community-based organisations (CBOs) operating in Kampala, Uganda. The family was established in 2023 with the aim of promoting and advancing the well-being of the members of the community, especially in the areas of faith, peace, environment, and women’s rights.

About the family

The family is supported by the Haella Stichting, a Dutch foundation that helps to realize the ideals of passionate people who want to do something for others or for the environment. The Haella Stichting provides financial assistance, advice, and collaboration to the family members, as well as connects them with other funds and donors.

This family website page is used as a free platform where the CBOs and NGOs can create and share their content and showcase their work and serves as a platform for communication, learning, and advocacy among the family members and the wider public.

This website page also features the stories, achievements, and challenges of the family members, as well as the opportunities and resources available for them.

The Haella Central Family is a unique and innovative initiative that aims to foster solidarity, cooperation, and empowerment among the CBOs and NGOs in Kampala, Uganda. By working together as a family, the organisations can achieve more impact and sustainability in their efforts to create positive change in their communities.

Our programs

Capacity building

This program aims to support the CBOs and NGOs on topics such as project management, financial management, monitoring and evaluation, fundraising, advocacy, and networking.

Community awareness

This program includes a number of campaigns on issues such as environmental conservation, climate change adaptation, peace building, gender equality, and human rights.

This includes socio-economic improvement activities such as agroforestry, beekeeping, poultry farming, handicraft making, Alternative energy promotion such as solar lamps, biogas, and fuel-efficient stoves.

Knowledge sharing

Under this program, learning events such as workshops, seminars, field visits, and exchange programs among the family members and other stakeholders.
